This image was made almost the longest day of the year - there seems to be something good about making the effort to be out for sunrise when it is so ridiculously early!
Because of the huge dynamic range in the image I did something I very rarely do - I made two exposures, one for the sky and one for the meadow and blended them together
I used a wide angle lens and hyperfocal focusing to make sure i had depth of field from the flowers just centimetres from the front of the lens right through to the sun in the distance.
A very charming shot! Love the position of and shape of the daisy/ox eye cluster. It has a nice summer meadow feel to it.
Delightful...and definitely worth the two exposures in this case. Would so love to see it large.
Stunning image, great colours ,nice light and lovely detail..
A very beautiful photograph, daisies and wild meadow in the low sunlight, very warming on these cold wet days,a nice picture for the wall, love it.
This is lovely..the colours are very vivid but it reminds me of a book illustration..I love it !
