I love the irony of the name, it goes with the ancient peeling posters, all the excitement long since gone. It's something that we are all familiar with, can all relate to. Street photography is about human stories, people relating to what surrounds us...

For me it's a mix of composition - and spontaneity. It needs planning, careful framing, and then reflex reactions. If you are using a wall, a building as a frame, and waiting for human interest to move into it, can I suggest that you compose for that frame. Look at the lines and blocks, get your composition sorted, then see who appears to occupy it.

Here I would want to face the building square on and isolate the area of strong interest. The mod tries to replicate that.

I like Moiras approach to be square with the wall, and used the same idea in a mod, - antique wet plate camera in Nik.

The washed out banner sign at the top is the weak point. Crop to just above the pub sign. I struggle with your choice of settings - why such high ISO and shutter speed when not necessary?
