The Old Ale House

By TrevBatWCC
First of all, thanks to Moira (mrswoolybill) for her excellent mod on my previous upload, removing the 'headless' man!
Passed this interesting looking pub on my travels around Truro. It took a bit of willpower, but I resisted the temptation to go inů Wink
Had our first fall of snow a few minutes ago, but it only lasted a few minutes, and now the sun's shining! Smile

Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw 7, tweaked in Photomatix Pro 5 and Photoshop Elements 11.

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Apparently we had Thundersnow overnight here in Cornwall, very loud and noisy all night.Sad The Lizard had snow and so did St Austell, both causing problems on roads, but nothing here locallyGrin Have spent a fair few lunch times in that pub, it is as good as it looksWink

No critique available of the Old Ale, then?
Actually, these days I'd probably do the same as you!

Looks a bit like my first pub. Though we had bottle glass windows. Think I would have been tempted to pop in. Beautifully captured as usual Trev.

A great image of what is thought of as a typical old fashioned British pub. Nice shot.
