The Ouseburn skyline

By mrswoolybill
The sides of the Ouseburn valley are steep, allowing views across the rooftops. In the foreground, a workshop with interesting anti-intruder measures on the roof, shards of car bodywork. In the background, the Seamen's Mission, the old Toffee Factory (now converted to units for small creative businesses), the Hotel du Vin (formerly the HQ of the Tyne Tees Steam Ship Company) and a particularly unattractive new housing development.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

An interesting set of buildings Moira. I do like the anti intruder measures on the roof/wall together with the gruesome graffiti - "Dare ye who enter".

Love the way the bright colours really grab the eye and then slowly releases it into the rest of the image..

Quite a lot going on in your image, so plenty to look at! I like the foreground but not so keen on the background.
