THE PACKET HOUSE, BRIDGEWATER CANAL

Yesterday was the first time I've been out with my camera since my eye operation. As I can't drive yet, Yvonne ( yvonnesviewfinder ) very kindly offered to take me out. After a coffee and a tea cake we had a walk along the canal between Boothstown and Worsley. I don't have my eyes tested until Friday so I'm using my old glass's and can only see through my left eye. I ended up taking my glass's off so I could see through my right eye, and that worked. I think I'll strap my camera to my head until I get new glass's or they fix my left eye. I have posted 6 picture's of Worsley to give you an idea of what a good location it is for a photoshoot if you live in the Manchester Area.

I have pictures of it when it was red with the iron in it. When the council had finish with it, they turned it a mucky brown.

Hope those eyes are better soon Gerry and you're back to normal.

Years since I visited Worsley and once went to a Jacobean banquet at the hall. All the rage in the early 70s! 1970s that is!
