The Crown Mines engine houses at Botallack in West Cornwall are one of Cornwalls most photographed Tin Mines. However what is less photographed is the area where most of the photographs are taken from. In the summer months there are rows of tripods sited just the other side of the rock on the right. There is also a very narrow and treacherous path on the left which has a deadly drop on either side. Locally dubbed “The Path of Doom”
