Spent a while looking at this from both viewpoints and what a difference it makes. Certainly the upside down image has a totally different feel and one which I think is better. Must have a look at a few of mine which are not as dramatic as I thought they would be.

Someone mentioned impressionism and that's what I thought, too. When this type of thing works, it's especially intriguing. It looks like there's a bit of a hurricane going on.
