Mono definitely. Very well done, he's difficult to photograph because of the extreme contrasts in light in that room.

Although at first glance, I thought I would prefer the mono, but on looking again, the color emphasizes the wonderful lines and details of the press. It also shows off the marvelous wall painting as well as the man himself. The entire image is embraced in light. Color gets my vote.

Strangely for me Den I prefer the mono, and with a Hartlepudlian wife how could I possibly ignore this! Great! And maybe #30 too...

I think mono was an excellent choice - gives it a timeless look. Nicely worked on the exposure with the strong contrasts in light and shadow.
