The Printing Shop - Discovery Museum Newcastle

By PhilT2
A first for me.......Having only driven around Newcastle before we decided to stop off for a couple of days on our return from Scotland and explore the city. What a great place and highlighted by seeing the fog on the Tyne, the opening of the Millenium Bridge and a couple of pints of Newcastle Brown Ale in a traditional pub.
Oh yes we did the sights too WinkWink
A great place to understand the history of Newcastle is by visiting the Discovery Museum (free) which is set out as a timeline from the earliest settlements to present day.
Some of the setting are populated by very realistic life size characters such as shown in my pictures and these are accompanied with dialogue between the characters as part of the scene.
The whole place is artfully created so I thought I would add a touch of artistic licence to this set.
Will probably post more from here
