We had a very pleasant trip into Birmingham today to see, amongst other attractions,
The Raging Bull, which played a starring role in the opening ceremony of the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Unfortunately, we have been unable to see in its 'raging' state' - red glowing eyes and 'smoke' being snorted from its nostrils, as was seen when the Games opened at the Alexander Stadium in July.
It is now on display in Centenary Square, outside the Library of Birmingham.
Made from aluminium tubing, foam and plastic, it was due to be scrapped when the games finished but, fortunately, it will be preserved and housed - I am led to believe - somewhere near Millennium Point in City.
Many thanks for all votes and comments on my 'Second Thoughts' upload and, especially, to John(Jmag60), Debs(frogs123) and Graham(Ericsamson) for their awards - very much appreciated, as always.
