the rear

By pluckyfilly
The rear of Waltham St. Lawrence church - many thanks for all c/c's on yesterdays upload for which I am forever grateful.

Yesterday was dreadful to say the very least with rain almost non stop, not a good day for no leccy and having to go out but thankfully its a lovely blue sky today at least for startersSmile

You have composed this shot very well, Ann, looking across the graveyard to the building which itself is quite fascinating, in that there are so many different types of stone and brick......presumably alterations and renovations at various periods over the centuries. Seems quite a dull day yet you have captured the detail so well.

I love the angles, all working against eachother, not your fault I took a few the other day and the angles are challenging and demanding. Glad your problem is over and the sky is blue again.

Very nice composition, does look a dull day, but you've caught the textures of the stone well. Surprised what looks like a rendered white wall was allowed,on a building of this age. Good shot.

Three good shots Ann - v1 is my favourite - A lovely and interesting church Ann - plenty of additions over the years by the look of it. The main body, then the tower - done a wee mod - a bit of tlc to lift it a tad, hope you dont mind
