The Return from "The Great Gathering"

Union of South Africa on it's way to Crewe from York last evening after attending "The Great Gathering" last month.

It's much better seeing it like this than in a crowded museum.

A fantastic capture of this old Chuffer Alan. The image is pin sharp and the colour has been very well captured and processed.

Cracking capture. I agree, would sooner see them on the track working than in a museum.

it gives all the steam specials and the light engine movements on Network Rail. Some of the light engine movements are only put up a couple of days or even less before the event, though,
