The Rev. Angus MacMillan's Vestry.

By Tooma
Today is Monday, so that means, once again good people, it is time for:-

ONE FROM MO.

Todays image was inspired by a former Pastor of a church she once attended. The name has of course been changed to protect the innocent.

'Vestry' an undergarment designed to keep ones chestry warm in inclement weather. Wink

Well done Mo. Smile

A lovely composition in which each element has its own significance and combines to give us a sense of a man's devotional life. The triangular arrangement is a nice touch with its gentle nod towards the Trinity.

For some obscure reason (my mind works in mysterious ways...much like The Good Lord God Himself) your chestry quip makes me think of one of my favourite jokes from The Two Ronnies. It was part of one of their news report skits, they announced that a local Vicar had been caught having an affair with one of his parishioners. Apparently his vest had been found in her pantry and her pants had been found in his vestry! I laughed like a loon at that.

Now that made me laugh this morning, and before my second cuppa, not an easy thing to achieve! I can hear in my head the voices ( I hear lots of voices in my head) of the two Ronnies reading that out.GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
