WOW - many thanks for the Guest Editor and Editors awards plus loads of UA's from you kind people for my Steetley Pier shot taken at the weekend, very much appreciated.
If you were unsure what it looks like from another angle then this shot will satisfy your curiosity ( In the previous upload I was stood on the right hand section at the top on the left looking at the severed remains that made up the image. this pier when built was 2000 feet long
This was taken the same day but just around sunset which was in fact behind me for this shot but a glimmer of light lit up the sky, I tried several shutter speeds but decided around 3 seconds worked well here especially with the speed of the incoming waves and then the retreating water as it returned into the North Sea.
