The Salmon of Doubt

We bought a full salmon from Morrisons and this included the head. I was reminded of Victorian images of various creatures and tried to emulate the feel of that here. It is presented as a Victorian style zoological specimen and I was doubtful as to whether the image would be liked, hence the title.

A beautiful tray and the colours blends in well with the fish. My thoughts are that I would have rounded off the top of the triangle on the head but that's just my opinion. Having it rounded may have not fitted in with your zoological specimin idea though.

A beautiful salver. The contents look awkward within the confines of the tray. Why at an angle? The 90 degree cut edge is over the rim, better straighter?
