Another from De Hoop Nature Reserve in South Africa. The beach has a fine white sand and huge dunes. It is remote enough to feel isolated and very quiet. Social distancing wouldn't be an issue here - albeit on arrival I didn't expect to see what I did: a dinner party complete with full formal dining table, chairs and waiters on the top of one of dunes!
This was taken the evening before my last upload and beach roles on to the far horizon (that will likely not show at this resolution). I had hoped for clear skies and an opportunity to shoot the Milky Way, but that wasn't to be. When looking through my archive of unprocessed images I find myself longing to be back here - perhaps one day I'll make the journey again, although there are so many places in this world I long to see.
