A wild male Black Grouse (Lyrurus tetrix) guarding his patch. Taken last week near Aviemore, Cairngorms National Park. Due to the fast moving storm clouds and non-stop rain, interspersed by fleeting moments of clear sky, there were many interesting changes of light during the 30 minutes or so of dawn shooting.
