The shed corner

By helenlinda
After a complete day of rain I give up with giving this up for a week to get the garden done!!!
Having had two days at Dad's we are now ready for house clearance and putting the house on the market. So it was back to the shed for some of those wonderful cobwebs and the light.
These are in the corner. The natural light comes in from the open door and the window and highlights the curves of the corrugated walls.
Thanks for looking and for the comments and clicks for my police dog.
Its good to be back even after a short break

Hi Helen. Better of here than out in this weather!! Roll on winter Smile
Some super texture and light on show here but definitely needs a click of the large button to appreciate it fully.

This is really interesting in the combination of vertical corrugations and horizontal webs, with that mysterious thread of green right at the bottom setting off the sparse monotones of the rest.

Filthy weather here, I'll need a scythe to cope with the "lawn" when the rain finally stops!

Id have been tempted to darken some of the shadow area to get a higher contrast, marvelous context for the webs Smile

Like Nic I think I want the shadows a bit darker, more mysterious. But this is already alien-looking, and I'm fairly sure there are huge hairy spiders lurking in there.
It's uncanny, just before your comment came up un my upload I was looking at it and thinking 'Those are helenlinda-type reflections...'

Thanks everyone.
Moira and Nic, I have uploaded the version I first prepared and then thought maybe this is too dark.

Thanks for the pm alerting me to this, I much prefer V2. I go through endless agonies over shadows, wondering if I want detail or mystery. The mystery works well here. The hidden lurking spiders suddenly get even bigger and hairier!
