The Sicilian

By SiHunt_GrafficSnapZ
Following the plod about Waltham cross, and feeling so good about the cycle snap I dropped into the JDW for a rest and some dark brown lemonade. Here I met my old friend Giuseppe who was very proud of his new hat and wanted a new snap taken.

It's a lovely portrait Si, but the focus seems to be on his hand, which is reasonably sharp, while his face is quite soft. Maybe sharpen his face a bit and perhaps increase the contrast just a touch? I think that would improve on this lovely image GrinGrin

Buen retrato..
I love this.. Great expression in the eyes & the hat gives the Sicilian touch

Actually, it's a Cordyline, and your comment is clever because they are prolific in Sicily.

You are quite correct about the focus but the only sharpener I have is in the kitchen drawer. As for contrast, I thought his face was quite hard enough!
