The Silent Sentinels

By sportyman531
We can perhaps forgive the fact that they lean as they were all erected in the 19th Century! A test for my Pentax APS-C 35mm f2.4 prime lens . Captured at the former chapel at Blake Dean high up on the moors between Hebden Bridge and Burnley, now used as a Scout and Guide centre. Once I'd got over trying to zoom in with the focusing ring everything went well! A very sharp lens, all the inscriptions on the gravestones can be read.
