THE SIMPLICITY AND BEAUTY OF MODESTY

Thank you for your amazing response to my previous upload 'DILEMMA NUMBER THREE' you are very kind

I frequently see and admire some beautiful nudes on this site, the lighting is to die for, the poses often elegant and even modest and I would love to try it one day, but trust me, it wont be a selfie Grin

That said, there is beauty in modesty also; this young lady is my neighbour, she is of Kurdish origin and currently at University studying Architecture. More often than not I see her without her hajib and often in her PJ's when she pops round with something wonderful to eat. Adar, unlike her older Sister, prefers to follow the modesty guidelines of her faith; the wearing of the hajib is not compulsary, contrary to general opinion.

Adar received a traditional celebration outfit from her cousin who still resides in Kurdistan and asked if I would photograph her wearing it, which I was delighted to do and very flattered that she asked me

Two wonderful portraits Tish. As we are seeing now, in some places wearing the hijab is not optional. And,,…what a costume!
