Fine mono work, Bill.

Carefully composed for those distant trees.
And a dog door... how thoughtful. Obviously only for small dogs though... best leave the Wolfhound at home.

One of those would simply step over the stile without breaking stride...

A clever composition, Bill, including more of the distant to provide extra context.

(Vroom, vroom all good?)

if I were to climb over this stile, I would need an Air Ambulance team to assist me 🚁

Great shot and we have one just like this on one of our walks, also with dog flap. Like others here as I get older I just seem to have more trouble as the years past. The worst thing is the wife standing there laughing...

At last a flap to crawl through... my knees are beginning to shy away from styles! 😁😁

Are there steps on the other side too?
I like the composition as if the hidden footpath takes you to the trees.

One of these styles, where you are very ungainly trying to get over, especially getting your foot over the top spar. Assuming you are a similar age to myself! Even worse, when there is snow on the steps!!

Yes. In 'standard' form there are simply two planks, one stepped out above the other, each projecting halfway through on either side. Most local stiles have been replaced in the last year, a welcome change for walkers who have had to cope with steps broken or missing as well as the threats of the virus. I have no idea why much longer planks than usual have been used.

Love the trees and the bits of grass above the snow! Love the style of your stile Bill!

At my height I'd probably go through the dog flap and be buried in the snow on the other side!Wink

You didn't find the path, then?! 😁 A fine follow-up to Tuesday's upload, and prefer this of the two 😃👍

A very stylish stile young sir. Is that square in the middle a dog flap, to assist those less agile
and more sensible that the ones who try to leap over it.
