Amazing woodland capture, and has that symbol just ‘appeared’? It’s very neat for a prehistoric spiral, but hope it turns out to be one! Lovely to see.
I see there’s another spiral similar to this one at Tibradden. Does the local museum know about this one you’ve photographed so well? Intriguing!

Yeah Dave, I am not 100% convinced it is "pre-historic" - but wouldn't it be cool if it turned out to be. I'm afraid to advertise the location in case the area gets destroyed with curious onlookers.

I really want to believe that the carving is genuine, a direct connection with the past. It feels right with that magical, elemental green. (It's a colour that my Hampshire granny regarded with deep suspicion, as being profoundly unchristian...)
The GEA is for that atmosphere, the carving is just a part of it.

It's certainly been there a few years - a rolling stone gathers no moss...

I'd be tempted by a crop on the left, I think. Cropping on the right to make the stone central isn't on, but putting it somewhere around a third will work nicely.
