The taste of Autumn

Persimmons, I love them. The only fruit that has to be almost rotten to be good. We don't have the lovely autumn colouring in our trees here so all I have to look forward to is.......well persimmons.

This is amazing ! Our persimmons looks totally different but also have to be eaten very ripe !!

Grin V2 another try. Tomorrow will be too late, where there were three ....... well one by itself is not much good is it, then again perhaps it will just be a plate.

I also love persimmons, Maureen! It is a pity that this fruit does not grow here where I live. In Russia Persimmon grows only on the coast of the Black and Caspian Seas.Smile

"Diospiros" in Portuguese. I love them. This September I was going for the fresh figs, but in October I hope to still find some of those back home to sample... You have made my mouth water! Grin
