A golden oldie from 2006, when on holiday in Le Touquet in Northern France.
Got up for dawn and shot the boats in the estuary at low tide.
Got very wet a few minutes after this, as the heavens opened, and I was already very muddy from the mud uncovered by the low tide.
RAW ISO 100
1sec @ f22
Fabulous Sky. Silverzone
it works for me mate
love the sky
Very good seascape but, the boat house seems to be falling into the estuary. Or can it not be helped?
really nice image and well presented
looks mighty fine on my monitor
Worth the soaking I reckon.
Nice capture Martin I like that sky, well done.
Like the details and colours in this - good comp too. Just on point-the Boat House does have a funny angle.
The boat house does have a bit of a lean due to the w/a distortion. Tried to correct, but lost so much of the image, that I decided to leave it. Swings and roundabouts for me, as I am not that PS skilled.
It was all worth it though, this is a great shot.
Crikey, I knew it had rained a bit, but a boat up on the Edges???
Is it the New Ark??
Great sky Martin
LOL at Fran, but with the amount of rain it could be the edges
The white boat looks well against that dark sky.
