Climbers on Annoch Mor having just climbed through the cornice.

For the climbers out there this was taken from half way up the final snow slope on 'The left twin' one of the many fabulous climbs on Annoch Mor. Although trying to balance on 60 degree neve and take a picture was a new experiance to me.

Comment allways welcome.

An incredibly good picture. The snow detail is crisp and the figures give scale to the situation.

Beautiful colours - love the three different shades and parts to the photo and the inclusion of the people - well balanced!! (in both senses of the word!!). Ewan.

Nice shot but find it all a little too blue. Have done a small modification to show you what I mean.

Tony,
Just looked and for me, I think yes its very blue, but the cornice looks to have mildew or something green anyway leaking from it in your adapted version. I think maybe a filter rather than changing the levels would bring the white closer without enhancing the leakage. However it was also a gloriously 'blue' day.

thanks

Looks absolutely superb. Wish that I had been there with you. Perhaps in March, when I'm staying in Fort William for a few days.
Best wishes, George.

Hi George, we will be visiting again in March whenever there is a settled period, its getting cold again this weekend and with any luck and little rain it will be great in March. We have an appointment with teh Ben and point Five gully to keep.

Always a worry that the camera will be dropped in a situation like this. Admire your courage (not in being where you are, thats more than acceptable, but in taking the shot!).
