Fingers that have done this so many times they don't need to be told what to do. So perfectly captured Somnath.

That works very well Somnath. Fabulous capture of movement, I am guessing this would also look good in Mono with all the lovely tones in the colour version put to good use.

Nice image.
The silence of the hand and sound of the spinning wheel are doing all the talk regarless left and or right positioning.

Having almost exhausted much of our time with left to right composition "rules" we have let slip from our attention one crucial element which I will call viewpoint ownership.

In both the pictures of "Touch 2" and " Touch 3" we look at the creation of this pottery as the photographer. The shadow of the potter's head casts on the wheel from theh top down.

No-one has thought or suggested to see this through the potter's eyes. If that is his right hand I think I would put it in the right bottom corner. Now the viewer welcomes to see from the perspective that the potter has.

The best of the series I think, this conveys the precision, the delicacy of touch perfectly.

A delicate touch, the little finger raised almost in the manner of an English gentleman partaking of afternoon tea...

No amigo, I don't "want" another vsriation, I am just talking about the perspective of the maker, the photographer and the viewer becoming as one.
