The Tunnel

By tony64
Afternoon everyone!

Well, the weather has broken and there's some much needed rain down here in the south!

Another tunnel for you today! I think I'm getting a bit obsessed with them. What would my psycologist say?

Once again, thank you for you interest as usual,

The psychologist would probably worry more if there was a train in the tunnel, Tony Smile
This kind of tunnel, covered or bordered by communications wires, drain pipes and conduits is usually utterly grotty, covered with unspeakable graffiti and bestrewn with empty pizza boxes. This one is artily illuminated and almost pristine; or your technique makes it so.

Yes, this was almost straight from camera Bill, no 'tidying up' required! Just a levels adjustement and small crop!

It's the diagonal leading up to the air-con box. Fabulous, unconventional composition.

Love the lighting and the pipes running off into the tunnel. Reminds me of one of the tunnels they ran down in an episode of Dr Who where the cybermen had taken over Canary Wharf...... sorry don't know what my psychiatrist would say either! Wink
As far as the rain goes, I've discovered our guttering is in a worse state than we thought! Have a quote to get them repaired as they were dripping, but after this PM's downpours the drip has turned into a deluge, with the wind blowing water all down the patio doors.Sad

Oh dear Barbara, I'm sorry to hear that! Might get some nice water patterns on the glass though!

Handled the light really well here Tony, and using it to your very best advantage.

P.S. It's chucking it down out there right now, might see some green grass again soon.

What a colorful tunnel....certainly is welcoming if you're into tunnels.
