The Two Millionth Sunset

After yesterday's photoshop experiment, today's photo is more straight forward. No photoshop in this except some levels adjustments.

The standing stones of Pentre Ifan in Pembrokeshire have stood for 5,500 years. As I was uploading the picture, I thought about how many times these ancient stones must have seen the sun setting - about two million.

the lines and angle of the clouds add a certain perspective to the composition and brings the eye into the stones well. I like the low level point of view also
