The ugly bug's old overcoat

Thanks for all the votes and comments on my previous upload.

This is the discarded skin of a dragonfly nymph which I found near my garden pond. The nymph is an ugly bug which lurks in the bottom of the pond until ready to throw off the overcoat and emerge as a beautiful dragonfly.

Thanks for the User Award. That was a pleasant surprise as this was uploaded way back in August last year. I haven't uploaded anything since then, but am intending to start again when I get my laptop back from being repaired.
