The very depressing building

By pablophotographer
Out and about with my architect friend. Afternoon and we are stopped at the traffic lights. Opposite of me, this building. I asked my companion, ''hey isn't this a depressing building of the Sixties?''. He looked at it and he agreed. I photographed it as we stood there, from below, keeping the horizontal part of the building, seen at the bottom straight; the distortion was created by our point of view. A man around his eighties turned his head and told us ''Now is more depressing''. The light turned green and our paths never mixed again. He left us wondering, Did he find the present more depressing because he is 50 years older, or it is because now this building today doesn't look as modern as 50 years ago?
