The Village Green

By TrevBatWCC
Back in Goathland, the village green is pleasant place to sit and ponder, especially on day like it was here Smile Taken just a few metres away from my Residents of Goathland upload, the 'residents' can be seen in the background, along with the red-roofed Village Hall, with the War Memorial in the foreground.

Techie stuff: see Exif
Single Raw images processed in Adobe Camera Raw, tweaked in Photomatix Pro and Elements 6

Thanks again to everyone for your votes & comments on my previous uploads, it really is appreciated and encouraging.

Yes sat on that bench a few times over the years. A pretty little village that doesn't change much over the years....Phil

Good to see other views of the village, Trev, as a certain view from the Heartbeat series is so familiar. Two shots that show it off so well.

Thos sheep haven't done a very good job of the grass, Trev. They've missed loads of bits.
Don't know the location of course but it looks a very pleasant place.

One of my favourite haunts, Trev. Could be a scene from the Olympics opening ceremony by that Boyle chappie as well Smile. Beautifully done... and good weather.

A most beautiful part of the Yorkshire Dales. Two equally as good images, superbly processed, "Hey lad, they take tha Heartbeat away?"

One of my old stomping grounds at around the time the photo on my post was taken. It is a lovely village in a lovely area and you have done it justice here.
