The Violinists Chair

By chase
Well she had to take a break before her solo performance Smile

Another Lensbaby image, Composer plus Sweet 35.
I will get to grips with this kit, I think there are many different effects it could bring to a still life image and tbh it's fun looking through them all and deciding when to hit the delete button Wink

Taken in daylight, camera left.
Raw file sorted in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with a tidy up crop and a levels adjustment.

Thanks for dropping by.
Maybe not everyones cup of tea but I do quite like the effects....and it puts away some of my Demons Wink

Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Be good, stay safe and smile.

Mixing my body bits, but am tempted to say this is sweet music to my eye...

I'm not seeing a lot of the lensbaby effect, except some softness on the scroll. Mind you, I don't really know what I'm looking for with a Sweet Blush Whatever, it's a beautiful image.

A lovely image - perhaps a bit "organised" with the violin dead centre on the chair and the music perfectly parallel to it, but I guess some musicians are like that....

Yes. Linda's chair as most people want to see it: all shiny. Good work, of various types. Have a gongy thingy.

Another beautiful still-life Janet. The lensbaby effect is so subtle as to almost invisible, in any case my eye was drawn immediately to the gorgeous colour and sheen of the violin body. Composition - a great diagonal from the top of the violin scroll to the end of the ribbon with the short opposing one of the music and the tiara; the whole nicely held together by the chair and the bow, and the shadows of the background. Excellent.

Yes, I was quite sad to see all the spiders webs and muck disappear, the beauty of the little chair is still there but in a different way.

I am trying....very trying Wink
Some frames are just a happy accident, I will master this for still life stuff...determination !!

James, I wouldn't like to try playing the Violin, it is pretty but sadly not an instrument for making music with any more Sad
