The Washing Machine ...

By sut68
A short break from New Brighton shots ... well, for now anyway Wink

Taken a couple of months back at Howick Scar, Northumberland. I find tidal movements like this quite hypnotic, just standing there watching you begin to appreciate the beauty that is nature. The way the waves crash over the rocks and find their way back into the sea never ceases to impress me.

So hypnotic in fact that I never realised how wet my feet and legs were even at this early stage in the proceedings ... then again, I wouldn't have done anything about it anyway Smile

Right, just off out for my birthday ... off for a lovely meal and an ale or two ... catch up on my return.

Cheers for dropping in ... go large for your own wet feet Grin

Paul

EDIT: 0.8 secs @ f16, ISO 100 + 0.6 ND grad [hard] + 5 stops ND to slow the water down [0.6 ProGlass ND + 0.9 ND grad pushed right down].

Happy birthday!

An excellent shot and well worth getting wet for. (It's very easy to say that when it's somebody else getting wet...)

Happy birthday old chap!

mid 40's now is it Wink

Do like the blues in this - I'll leave it to Alan Partridge to elaborate...

Do you know what this 'photo' says to me? Aqua - which is French for water. It's like being stuck inside a giant Fox's Glacier Mint, which again is a bonus
