Excellent composition and tones showcase the pier as well as the unusual costumes. These strange figures make a fine contrast with the normal people observing from the pier. I like the muted palette very much indeed, while there is plenty of small detail to enjoy. Use of lines is exemplary.
There is a tiny blob just over the heads of the close-coupled couple on the pier that distracts very slightly. Nonetheless, a fine piece of work.
