The Watcher

By whiteboxer
Looking out over Lancaster at dusk when this man decided to stand in my shot for several minutes.
Is he admiring the view or watching the people at the bottom of the steps?
I wasn't sure, but when they moved off to the right he definitely seemed to follow...

Before anyone asks a tripod and an eight year old companion prevented me from doing likewise.

This images really stands out for me and I found it very emotive. Not really sure why it just did something for me. Love how you have processed it.

Have a WKA (Welshkiwi Award) on me.

Thank you Lee for the award, and everyone else for your comments.
I can't put my finger on why I like this either, its not like any of my other shots, but the sense of something sinister became even more pronounced when I had processed it.

It does have a sinister feel to it but i think thats why it stands out, It could of been that he was being awkward and thought he'd mess with your shot. Superb capture and manipulation

Great processing again. I like the composition too. The wall makes a great lead into the heart of the shot.

And yes, I agree, there is something sinister, yet captivating, about the whole image.

Deserves far more attention that it's had.
