The Waves

By marktc
OK, firstly I'd like to thank the following people for their kind thoughts and comments following my last upload..

Alan (whatriveristhis), Jason (jasonrwl), Tish (Tish1), Daisymaye, Jenn (Taggart), Walter (gajewski), Helen (Helenlinda), Isabel (IGreenGables), Cliff (Nikonuser1), Andy (Andylea2), Barbara (Barbarahirst), Chris (slowsong), Sandra and Martin (crookymonsta), Derek (Derekhansen) and George (Diggeo) for the supportive comments and email messages. I'm touched and very grateful for your support.

Anyway, on to a more uplifting image today and one from sunset last night, I hope you like it. No big stopper for this one a straight shot as it was getting towards sunset. Titled after one of my favourite and most uplifting pieces of music Le Onde.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back on a more regular basis from the weekend.

"No big stopper for this one . . . " I disagree with your humble assessment. This is a wonderful shot with a rich, limited color palette and perfect comp. I really like the foreground detail as well.
Nicely done, my friend.

Absolutely delicious colour. I love those pastel shades and the slow colour transitions you see when you look more eastward at sunset... subtle.
