Something I would do. Similar to one of mine in fact. Pleasing low angle light. TG
Over the stile, out of the shade and into the light, up the hill as the arrow points perhaps towards the cottage. The location of the trees also reinforces the notion of lines leading in the scene. As well as the fine composition, the gentle illumination makes this a wonderful picture of a bucolic scene.
