Fine colors and composition Smile

Such a wonderful facial bone structure she has, John. A very attractive and photogenic face indeed.
Love the shot. The square format works very well in providing a very nicely balanced composition which suits her far away gaze.

I had a Helios on my first SLR, a Zenit E, built like a tank but not a camera for shooting action or sports images, given its speed of operation.
A classic look, John beautifully composed!

Very retro but no shame in that with such a beautiful model and great surroundings.

Weren't big hats popular in the 1980s? I recall seeing them a lot in AP and so on, or have the miosts of time clouded themmemory Smile
So, retro in more ways than one, and I mean that as a compliment, as it's a good shot (I'd expect no less!).

Did you scan the neg or a print?
There are some Newton's rings just above her right hand where the neg/print has been in contact with the scanner glass. It's an issue that crops up with glass mounted slides unless you used anti-Newton glass. I used glassless.

"Newton's rings" and there i was, thinking you'd cloned out a whopping big Cuban Cigar SmileSmile
A lovely image John, if you hadn't told us that it was only taken a few months ago, i'd have
believed it was taken decades ago. Nice work.

I rushed this morning... I scanned the negative with a flatbed Epson. As the film is not very fresh, it curls quite a bit after processing - takes a while to flatten in the neg files.

Sorry about the Newtonian extras.
