The Wedding 8 - She's here!

By mrswoolybill
Real connoisseurs of weddings know that at a certain moment the groom's face is the one to watch.
I was happy to leave the Official Photographs to the Official Photographers. I promised not to interfere or get in their way. But I warned them that there was one shot that I was determined to get myself - Daniel watching Sarah walk in on Bill's arm.
V2 V5 are the full sequence in chronological order.
Thanks for looking,
Moira
Edit - Just to clarify, I know V1 and V4 are the same picture! It's the one I really wanted so it's the lead - but I also wanted to show where it fits into the sequence.

Another excellent set of wedding images Moira.

I'm drawn to the composition and expressions of version 3.

A great series of images Moira, like way you have captured the play of emotions on Daniel's faceSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

For me it's version 5. The detail of her hair and dress but mostly the groom looking straight into his beloved's eyes. So romantic Blush

It has to be V2 for me, the happy faces of both the groom and the little girl. - gary

I like the way the subject stands out from the other two figures because of the difference in lighting, and the subtle dof.

Perhaps, when my daughters get married you could come and do the pictures.

Why not make a book of just your pictures?

A lovely set. From the awed expression in V1. To the, we are really doing this happy look. To the lets get serious. 1 and 4 appear the same to me. Then the lovely romantic kiss. All important images and ones to look back on down the road and feel sentimental all over again.......Sandy

A wonderful series of the anticipatory moment. V3 is exceptional.
A professional couldn't have achieved this, it took one looking through the eyes of love.

Hi again, sorry if I didn't explain clearly above - V1 and V4 are the same picture, it's the one that I wanted so it's the lead image but I also included it in the chronological sequence, to show where it fits in. Does that make better sense?
Rende, I was hoping that someone would photograph the boys getting ready, I've no idea if that happened... Wink

v1 on its own looks like he's asking the best man whether he's doing the right thing!! v2 is an excellent triangle with some lovely expressions, v3 a great double, v5 a tender moment. A fine set Moira.

A wonderful set Moira, with V5 a perfect finish to the preceding images. Must be viewed as a set and not individual images to fully appreciate the emotive content of the occasion.

The expression in V2 is so well captured and must say I love the detail of the dress in V5 with the earrings
the same shape as the buttons.
Hope everything went well.
