I'm not quite sure what the subject is here. Are the swans the main subject? In which case you need to zoom in. Also it is overexposed especially if the swans are the subject. Sorry, I don't think this image works at all for those reasons. It might have been better to wait until the swans are more in view and zooming in a little. By zooming in, the swans would have filled the frame more and then not fooled the camera into over-exposing the shot which has happened here.

I don't think that overexposure's the problem here John. A check in levels indicates that it's nearly the opposite.
Although the white swan is blown, the problem here is that the image is suffering from being oversaturated.
Some de-saturation using just the yellow channel makes the colours more realistic and a touch more brightness brings it back to life.
I've added a mod.
Hope this helps.

Hi Billy,

I can see what you were after with this shot and it could have worked quite well with the Swans swimming and the thick branch framing them. The tree's a little too dominat and maybe you could have turned a little more to the left and/or got lower to the ground to give you another perspective. The main thing is Billy, you saw the shot and went for it, well done. I think you may have boosted the colours a little to much and they could do with cooling down a touch.

Take care Billy.

thanks again chaps it was just an old photo i was practising on.i took some shots 2day in bkt mode and i will try and merge a few

all a learning curve for me

thanks again Billy
