The White Poppy.

By Tooma
This is one of the White Poppies I mentioned a couple of days ago. Until I saw these I had never even heard of such a flower. If you look closely you can see it is not completely white, but has hints of other colours fading in and out, like you see on some heat treated topaz stones. I never touched saturation or vibrancy, just a little contrast and sharpening, so you can see the flower as I saw it. Smile

The Version is another view of the flower.

A very special white---- I had a collection of these poppies last summer from Sierra Club--- wish I knew their name ---I love them and would like to grow them again!

A different type of poppy, which I did not know about either. It almost looks as if a cross-breed between white and red hence the red tones creeping through. The other version I like including the fly!
