The wonders of wilderness

Deep on the Catherine Pass trailhead, I was struck by the deep beauty all around. Below me in the distance, tiny Lake Martha and a bit further Lake Mary sparkled like blue jewels. All around me flowers! Blues, reds, whites, purples, a stunning patchwork of colors and above me blue skies with puffy white clouds. I'm lucky to live in this land, this place at this time, what more could a person ask? The wonders of nature
