The Yarn Market

The Yarn Market in Dunster, Somerset was built in the early 17th century. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building and scheduled monument. The Yarn Market is an octagonal building constructed around a central pier.
Dunster was an important market place in the Middle Ages particularly following the construction of Dunster Castle and the establishment of the Priory Church of St George.

No mistaking this wonderful old building, and the very delightful village. It's such a shame about all the cars you get parked all the way along here on the High Street, without them it's such a timeless and unchanged place. Visited it twice and love the village (but not the cars!) A fine capture, David 😃👍
