Ther Wall and the tree

By owen_john
Taken this morning on the walk up tp Top Withens I have to say Metcheck is well worth a visit before an outing as they usually give a pretty accurate weather forecast. As you can see there was snow so I took full advantge of it, I can't wait to get my hand held spot meter it's such a pain taking reading with the the cameras own lbuilt in meter.

Nice comp Owen, stood out in the gallery.
Don't you find the spot metering a good alternative to a hand meter?

Platchet while the cameras spot meter is good the camara has to be moved to take readings, buy using my soon to be received handeld spot meter I can set the camer inbthe position I require and then meter on the fly as and when the light changes without having to move the camera. Old school maybe but I think it is a far better solution for low light photography. (Just my opinion)

Fair comment Owen, suppose I've just become to lazy in this digital world! I'll have to dig that old Weston Master out.
