My 30 DIY Macro lens has begun to pay that I have flash diffusion and aperture sorted, it is producing more detailed results.

This is one of a set taken yesterday.

I have always been fascinated by the organic skull-like seed-pods of the common Snapdragon flower, when totally dry they look like strange skulls, or ceramic sculptures.

Whilst exploring a bunch of them yesterday, I noticed mini-movements..... a 4mm long baby Woodlouse in its shiny new armour was exploring that miniature landscape.
Please look at my versions.

Then a little later the tiny 2-3mm baby snail kept crawling into view....

A wonderful world in miniature.

Brilliantly caught - these little critters never sit and pose, so it's quite difficult to photograph them. You've captured it brilliantly, lots of lovely details!
