There But Not There

I was shooting (maybe not the best word to use?) at the Gardening Scotland event setting up yesterday and there were three of the gardens/displays based around this theme.

This one was really hard to get clean shots of the sculptures as it was inside with all kinds of mixed lighting and surrounded by other displays with were encroaching on any kind of suitable backdrop.
However, the designer has had a look at the shots I took and he seemed to like them, so here is the first of a mini-series, it was taken using the light coming in through a hanger type door in the hall bouncing off the sculpture which is actually black

An empty space, but still with a strong presence. There's a lot to think about in this.

I was shooting exactly the same things in a church last Wednesday.
I like the way you have isolated this and made the metal shine.
