Žingvellir National Park was the first national park in Iceland and was decreed "a protected national shrine for all Icelanders, the perpetual property of the Icelandic nation under the preservation of parliament, never to be sold or mortgaged."

a superb capture....beautiful rugged landscape with craggy rocks in the foreground contrasting well with the smooth snow covered mountains......the water reflection & depth of field are beautifully capturedSmile

I actually visited here when I was in Iceland many years ago, and just wish I had the chance to go back again. Just beautiful with all the qualities to hold a great image together..Jo
