A great joint effort! Those eyes are piercing, does she have a licence for them? Wink

masquerade
if the eyes are the windows to the soul,
then dress them up nicely.
keep all of the anger
threatening to pour from you
behind a locked mouth.

A thought provoking image so well done to both of you.

No....but she does have a prescription to correct her chronic myopia. This, unfortunately, does not stop her from absent mindedly bumping into furniture, tripping on carpet edges, and banging her knees and elbows on any and every sharp edge in the house.

If you are wondering what is behind the often mysterious, ethereal, almost other-wordly look that she has in her eyes - it is down to the fact that minus her specs' she is as short sighted as Mr Magoo. Ask her to focus her gaze on any specific point and she has a tendency to go slightly cross eyed!

More pleasing collaboration work from you two. Superb colours .
One of Leons greatest songs for your title. Not sure if you like Jazz ...my favourite version of the song is by Blues/Jazz piano player named Gene Harris.
Cheers Walt

Thank you Walt. Never came across Mr Harris before - had a listen to him playing This Masquerade from '94 - I like. Quiet suspenseful start which ranged up to high drama and back again; must listen to more from him. Oddly, I found his style and sound to be familiar, but have not figured/remembered why yet.

Anytime Mo and I have had a go at This Masquerade, I found myself slipping into a Latin type groove with it on my guitar - where are the bongos? Seems to suit that style for me. Smile
