Views 80 Unique 49 Award Shortlist

Thomas with Stickleback

By AlanWillis
Many thanks to Lillian, Ade, and David Gibson, for their User Awards.

Thomas Kingfisher was 3 meters from me, and I could not see him. The sky had turned as black as coal.
Because my camera has an electronic viewfinder, you can see in the dark through it.
I looked through the camera, which was trained on the perch, where I expected Tom to land, to my surprise he was on it.
The dark clouds had produced an emotional colour to The kingfisher. He disappeared and returned with a fish.
1/60, F6.3, ISO 800 with an EV of -5 ( off the scale) will show how dark it was.
